1.Chose NAIL Shapes

When choosing a nail shape and length , it’s important to take into account the size of your natural nail bed. By doing so, you can ensure a harmonious and flattering look for your nails.

2.How to measure size

For the most precise results, measure your natural nails without any polish or extensions.

  1. Lay a strip of tape over the widest part of your nail.
  2. Mark the edges from sidewall to sidewall using a pen.
  3. Remove the tape and record the width in millimeters.
  4. Repeat the process for each finger.

To order a set of Mini Ami Nails, you must know your nail measurements. How to determine your size:

Option One (Reccomended):

Purchase a sizing kit.

A sizing kit includes every nail size (#’s 00-9) in the shape of your choice (e.g. short coffin) for you to try and determine your prefect fit.

Once you know your nail sizses/numbers, you can correspond those to Mini Ami’s standardized sizes (XS,S,M,L,XL) as listed in the sizing chart below or order a custom size at checkout.

Option Two:

Measure your nails.

Please be aware that there is more room for error when measuring your nails versus using a sizing kit, and could lead to you ordering nails that do not fit correctly.

How to Measure your Nails in Milimeters:

Step 1

Lay a soft measuring tape over the widest part of your nail pulling down tight to account for any curve of your nail.

Note the width of each nail in milimeters for each finger, at the widest part.

OR

Stick a piece of tape across the widest part of your nail pressing down to account for any curvature.

Pull the tape off your nail and measure the distance between your marks of each nail (thumb, index, middle, ring and pinky) with a measuring tape or ruler in millimeters.

Now that you’ve recorded the width (accounting for any curve) of your nails in millimeters, use the below chart to determine your individual nail numbers (00-9) and the corresponding size kit to select (XS, S, M, L, XL).
